At Therapy Beyond Walls, couples therapy is about creating a safe, supportive space where both partners feel heard, valued, and understood. We use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help couples strengthen communication, manage intense emotions, and find practical tools for reducing conflict and building connection.

Because relationships are shaped by the families and systems we come from, we also draw on Family Systems approaches to explore patterns that may have been carried into the relationship—helping partners see how these dynamics affect the way they relate to each other today.

Throughout the process, we provide Supportive Therapy to offer encouragement, validation, and guidance, so both partners can feel grounded as they work through challenges together. The goal is not just to repair what feels broken but to help the relationship grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient—rooted in understanding, respect, and care.
